There are two ways to find the items you are interested in, either via the category icons permanently displayed on the menu bar to the left of the page or via the search box above the menu bar. When you have found the item, clicking on the small picture, the title or the 'Info' button will give you more information, a larger picture and display any colour and size options for that item.

When you have decided to buy an item, click the buy item and it will be added to your basket. The basket is simply a list of the items you intend to buy. It is a reversible step and you are not committed to buy anything. You can see items in your basket displayed in the basket window at the bottom left of the screen together with the running total including all delivery costs. You can continue shopping by clicking the 'Continue Shopping' button, selecting a category icon or by using search again.

Once you have finished making your selection you are ready to process your order. Click 'Checkout' on the menu bar at the top of the screen and you will be taken to the order form. You will see all your selections displayed individually and you will have the option to remove individual items or clear the whole basket and start again. When you are ready to proceed, simply fill in the form and continue.

Darling Buds no longer accepts credit or debit card payments. Your order will be received electronically by us and an automated confirmation e-mail will be sent to you. We will then send you an Invoice by e-mail. Once your payment has been received and cleared, your order will be despatched.

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling. Customers from the USA or Euro zone countries can have prices simultaneously quoted in those currencies. Children's clothes are exempt from UK VAT. Any customs or import duties levied once your parcel reaches your country will be the responsibility of the customer. Obviously Darling Buds has no control over these charges, so unfortunately cannot predict what they will be.

Delivery and Packaging

All purchases are sent wrapped in tissue paper in a sturdy box with a lift off lid. Multiple items in one order are individually boxed and sent in one package. All orders are despatched promptly and should arrive at UK destinations between 3 to 5 days after the order is placed. For destinations in Europe or the USA, orders should arrive within 10 working days. Destinations in the rest of the world may take a few days more. International destinations may be subject to delays for customs clearance.

The cost of postage and packaging is charged at cost and added to your order at the checkout. Charges vary in the UK according to the number of items you order. For international destinations, charges vary according to the country and the total weight of the order. In the UK delivery for 1 item is £5.35 and for 2 items is £6.95. When you proceed to the checkout you will see the postage and packing charge listed separately in your basket before you are required to give your details.

Returns

If any item is unsuitable for any reason, you may return it within 14 days for a full refund or exchange as required. Unfortunately, Darling Buds is unable to refund postage and packing or return postage as they are direct costs. Please obtain a 'proof of posting' certificate from your post office when returning goods as Darling Buds cannot be held responsible for parcels lost on return.

Privacy

Darling Buds only receives information from site users who place an order. We keep this information only to process orders and follow up after sales queries. Darling Buds does not distribute this information to third parties for marketing purposes. Customers who wish to receive marketing information from Darling Buds have to opt in to the mailing list.
