An area with a relatively sparse population, the local economy revolves around farming and tourism, supplemented by the recent explosion of interest in Atlantic coast surfing of which Bude is a national centre. Traditional skills such as knitting and crochet enjoy a healthy survival locally and Darling Buds marries these skills to classic vintage design and high quality yarns.

Darling Buds is a family run business with the practical experience of four children and a large extended family to inspire a real interest in creating clothing that is both beautiful and the ultimate in comfort for babies.~~~361~392~~
